Choreographer, Dancer, Stage Director
Coraline Lamaison is the Artistic stage manager, director and choreogrpaher of her company the C*. La Maison. Since 2004 she has been the assitant of Jan Fabre at the heart of Troubleyn/Jan Fabre.
After a full cycle of work from 2009 to 2012 on narcissisme which gave birth to the triptyque « Narcisses », it focuses on what becomes of social behaviors and understanding them. Today her research sheds a particular light on vunerability, coping mechanisms, metions and the birth of feelings.
Though these themes she is able to explore the renewal of chorographic writing as well as on the transformation and evolution of performance spaces.
Her different expericnes have included:
Actrice at the Conservatoire d’Art Dramatique, then at the Théâtre Daniel Sorano of Toulouse under the directon of Jacques Rosner. From 1996-2003 she appeared in Bal des Anges, Jusqu’au dernier baiser, Les Innocents, Les Vaniteux, under the direction of Claude Bardouil. From 2004-2005 she worked with Jan Fabre in The Crying Body at the Paris theater and for a European tour and then at the Festival d’Avignon in L’Histoire des Larmes.
As a stage director and Choreographer:
She created several original plays for the Théâtre de la Digue à Toulouse, Kate Strong and Annabell Chambon: Etude pour un homme seul ,Narcisses-0, Ex/Stase Narcisses-1, Narcisses-2.0, Vulnérables, premier mouvement de La Mort des sentiments, La Mort des sentiments for 7 interpreters . She also was the stage director for the following pieces 4.48 Psychose by Sarah Kane, with the permission of Claude Régy (copyrighted) in which she was also a performer, as well as You need a coach my friend de Anne Lefèvrepour for the group TSH to name a few.
