Cie Rosas Dancer (Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker) (Technique/Repertoire)
Born in Belarus, Igor studied ballet and modern dance at The University of Culture in Minsk from 1993-1997 and furthered his studies at the P.A.R.T.S.(Performing Art Research and Training Studios) contemporary dance school in Brussels. Working with choreographers: Thomas Hauert (Brussels), Jonathan Burrows (London) from 1997-2000 in which he graduated.
In 1998 he worked as a trainee with Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and Rosas during the creation process of Drumming. In 2000 contributed as a dancer to the creation of Rush choreography by Akram Khan (London)
From 2000-2010 as member of the Rosas Co he danced in the revival of Drumming and contributed to the creation of Rain, April Me, The Repertory Evening, Bitches Brew /Tacoma Narrows, Kassandra, The Revival of Mozart/Concert Arias, Raga for The Rainy Season / A love Supreme, D’un Soir Un Jour, Bartok, Beethoven , Schoenberg – Repertory Evening , Steve Reich Evening and Zeitung, performing all over the world.
In 2012 he also choreographed “Darling” in collaboration with Moya Michael.
